You can help us enrich your child’s STEM education by donating to the expansion of NEW Mobile Makerspace work areas in each of the three Nyack elementary schools. Inspire Nyack’s goal is to raise $30,000 to fund the continued expansion the Makerspace initiative to Valley Cottage and Upper Nyack Elementary Schools and to further enrich the Makerspace at Liberty Elementary School.

What is a Makerspace? A Makerspace is an instructional workspace designed to encourage problem solving, critical thinking and design skills in a creative collaborative forum. Students are immersed in learning as they use robotics, building sets and inventing tools to work on curriculum based projects.
